Obituary of Wanda Pogorzelski

Wanda (Gasiorek) Pogorzelski, age 87, died Monday, April 12, 2010 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Pogorzelski was born February 13, 1923 in Poland, the daughter of the late Stanislaw and the late Zofia (Piek) Gasiorek. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Brooklyn. She was an office worker for SEI Union 32-BJ. Mrs. Pogorzelski was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church in Wayne. Mrs. Pogorzelski was the beloved wife of the late John. She is survived by her loving daughter Diane Kozlowski; her devoted granddaughter Barbara and her husband Earl Voss and grandson, Robert Kozlowski; her cherished great-granddaughter Emma Voss; her dear sister Stefania Wardzala; and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grand nephews. She will be sadly missed by her cat, BoBo. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. The funeral will be Friday at 8:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
