Obituary of Dezyderiusz Lachocki
Dezy "Ted" Lachocki, 85, of Wayne died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 after living the American Dream. Mr. Lachocki was born February 9, 1925 in Poland, the son of the late Franciszek and the late Jadwiga (Witkiewicz) Lachocki. Mr. Lachocki migrated to the U.S. in 1951 and he was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Lachocki was an electrical technician at Perkin Elmer in Fairfield. He was also an avid gardener, kayaker, swimmer, poet, and a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church.
Mr. Lachocki was the beloved husband of Helena (Niziol) for 56 years; devoted father of three sons: Richard and his wife Cherie, Stephan and his wife Bonita, and Thomas and dear brother of Gienek. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Alicia and Irene.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.
Interment will be in Our Lady Of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.
