Obituary of Michael S. Galderisi

Michael S. Galderisi, age 84, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at VA Hospital of Lyons, Lyons. Mr. Galderisi was born July 26, 1925 in Calvanico, Salerno, the son of the late Carlo and the late Annastosia (Venderami) Galderisi. He lived in Wayne and previously lived in Paterson. He was the owner/operator of MG Tile, Wayne for over 40 years. He was a former member of St. Michael's R. C. Church, Paterson. Mr. Galderisi was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Beloved husband of M. Bernadine (Balough); Loving father of Victor and his wife Sherrie, Michael, Donna and her husband Kenneth Suter and father in law of Alyson; Dear brother of Josephine Derozd; Devoted grandfather of Jason and his wife Katie Suter, Christina Suter, and Valerie Nicole Galderisi and great grandfather of Stephanie Suter. He was preceded in death by his son, Glenn "Galdo" Galderisi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010 and the visiting from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Rural Valley Cemetery, NY.
