Obituary of Rita Ruggeri

Rita (Boudiette) Ruggeri, age 94, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Ruggeri was born June 23, 1915 in Hoboken, the daughter of the late William and the late Helen (Coleman) Boudiette. She resided in Union City for over 50 years. In 2008, she moved to Van Dyk's Assisted Living in Hawthorne. She was a homemaker and the matriarch of the family. Mrs. Ruggeri is survived by her loving daughter Linda Heinzer; her cherished grandsons Michael and his wife Noelle Heinzer and Steven Heinzer and his fiance Kristina McGeehee and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Guido and her dear siblings Roselia Bohle, and William, Charles and Thomas Boudiette. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Memorial donations in Mrs. Ruggeri's name may be made to: Susan G.
