Obituary of Leonel Lezcano

Leo ''The Lion'' Lezcano, age 19, died peacefully, with his family by his side on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at home in Pompton Lakes. Leo was born June 19, 1994 in Jersey City, NJ the son of Chicho and Dori (Munoz) Lezcano. He attended Pompton Lakes High School and later Eastwick College, Hackensack campus. Leo was employed by Donnagios Restaurant in Saddlebrook and attended the Liquid Church, Nutley Campus. He was also a member of the Pompton Lakes- Riverdale First Aid Squad. He is survived by his parents: Chicho and Dori Lezcano; three sisters: Jennifer and her husband John Culic, Michele and her husband Anthony Giganti, Lucy Lezcano , paternal grandmother, Amalia Lezcano; fraternal grandmother, Terina Munoz; Aunts , Salo Peña, Olga L. Munoz and Piti Prieto; Uncles, Pepe & Diego Lezcano and Jose Munoz, 2 nephews, Luke Anthony Giganti and Nikolas John Culic. He was predeceased by his brother John Anthony in 2000. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am will be celebrated by Pastor Michael Leahy. Interment will follow in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
