Obituary of Edna Shelton

Edna (Ball) Shelton, age 90, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the Atrium at Wayne. Mrs. Shelton was born May 30, 1919 in Clifton, NJ the daughter of the late Charles and the late Addie (Robertson) Ball. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Paterson. She was employed by Macy's, Willowbrook Mall, Wayne as a Cashier. Mrs. Shelton was a former member of the Totowa Memorial Church, Paterson and more recently attended the Preakness Valley United Reformed Church, Wayne. She is survived by three daughters: Janis Riccardi and her husband Eugene, Nancy Miller and her late husband Robert,Jr. and Linda Shelton and her fiance Thomas VanWinkle, two sons : Jeffrey and Stuart,Jr., one sister: Mildred Van Dyne, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Stuart, Sr. in 1991. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
