Obituary of James J. Brudny, Sr.
James J. Brudny, Sr., age 78, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Brudny was born October 1, 1931 in Passaic, the son of the late Joseph and the late Anna (Bartus) Brudny. He lived in Pompton Lakes for the past 42 years and was formerly of Paterson. Mr. Brudny was an electrician and a member of IBEW Local #102 for 55 years. He was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and the adjutant for American Legion Post #235. He was also an avid bowler and ocean fisherman.Mr. Brudny is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Rosetta (Tumini); his loving children, James J., Jr., and Michael P. Brudny and Leanne Minton, devoted grandfather of Alex, Nicholas, Leo and Gregory, and dear brother of Joanne Einhorn. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:30 am at St. Mary's R.C.
