Obituary of Dorothy Irene Bognar

Dorothy Irene (Monahan) Bognar, age 63, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at her son's home in Bloomingdale. Mrs. Bognar was born January 13, 1950 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Peter Thomas and the late Dorothy Adele (Gehring) Monahan. She lived in Northern NJ most of her life and Winter Haven, the last 15 years. She was the Vice President of Paterson Shade River Street, Paterson,NJ before retiring. She is survived by her sister: Barbara Monahan, a brother: Peter and his wife Laurie Monahan, nephew, Peter and his wife Kristen Monahan,IV; Great-nieces, Cara & Eliana Monahan and great-nephew, Brendan Monahan. She was predeceased by her husband, Istvan and sisters, Jane Furler, Patricia Monahan & Bonnie Kistler. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 3-5 PM. The graveside service will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus And Century Roads, Paramus.
