Words cannot truly express how I feel about Mr. Ziccardi. I have not really known him for that long, but my sister Nora used to speak of him often. I finally got to know him about 7 years ago, and always marveled at his vast knowledge, quick wit, and compassion for all things, especially food. I remember a trip to Montclair to see a show and have dinner at a nice Italian restaurant where he ordered a veal chop special. When his plate arrived, we could not believe the size of that chop. I still chuckle when I thing about that dinner! He also professed to be the expert on hot dogs, and we enjoyed a Libby lunch one day. He has been to several of my sister's parties, and was always a great conversationalist and the life of the party. I will miss his smiling face. Rest in peace my friend. Sympathy to all of the Ziccardi's.

When I reflect on those very impressionable formative adolescent/teenage years, Mr. Ziccardi always comes to mind as one of those people who had a special, positive influence on me. It was my good fortune to have him as a teacher for 2 of my years at Wayne Valley and after graduation, I often saw him in Preakness Shopping Center where I had my weekend job during my daus at nursing school. He always was interested in what I was accomplishing in my education and career and had words of encouragement and shared a little pride in my academic achievements.
My thoughts and prayers are extended to the family he cherished.

Tom, a colleague and friend, such a special person. We enjoyed his intelligence, his warmth, his mentoring, and his wit and humor. It has always been a pleasure being in his company or speaking with him. Dennis especially appreciated his guidance and wisdom in union matters as well as personally in life matters.
