Obituary of Adele D. Ramsey

Adele D. (Carpenter) Ramsey, age 86, died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at home in Pompton Plains. Mrs. Ramsey was born March 24, 1923 in Jersey City, the daughter of the late William and the late Adele (Ziger) Carpenter. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her devoted granddaughter, De Mc Guire; her loving grandchildren, Joe McGuire, Dawne Kinney and Leanne Henningsen; 6 cherished great grandchildren and her daughter Dayle McGuire. She was predeceased by her husband David. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. The graveside service will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at First Reformed Church Cemetery, 529 Newark Pompton Tpke, Pompton Plains and will be celebrated by Rev. Kathleen Chase.
