Obituary of Nello Capitanelli

Nello Capitanelli, age 84, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital, Lake Worth, FL. Mr. Capitanelli was born September 15, 1924 in East Paterson, the son of the late Cesare and the late Ida (Conti) Capitanelli. He lived in Lake Worth, Florida and was formerly of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Mr. Capitanelli served in the US Marine Corps during World War II. He was the owner of Sample Masters in Garfield before retiring. Mr. Capitanelli was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Sommariva); loving father of Raymond and his wife Cindy Capitanelli and John and his wife Carol Capitanelli; devoted grandfather of Renee, Dana, Christopher and Stephen; cherished great-grandfather of Francesca; and dear companion of Lenore Ryan. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
