Obituary of Anita Joy Doyle

Anita Joy (Colavolpe) Doyle, age 82, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Kindred Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Doyle was born October 15, 1930 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Rose (Landi) Colavolpe. She lived in Paterson before moving to Wayne five years ago. She retired in 1996 from teaching at St. Leo's School in Elmwood Park and before that at St Phillips School, Clifton. Previously she was a religious sister with the Franciscan sisters of Peekskill. Mrs. Doyle was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. She is survived by her loving husband of over 35 years, Lawrence P. Doyle, her dear sister Audrey Colavolpe and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. ST Sutton. Interment will be in Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
