Obituary of Phyllis Marie Maloney

Phyllis Marie (Rykal) Maloney, age 91, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Mrs. Maloney was born November 2, 1924 in Cadott, WI the daughter of the late Frank and the late Ida (Graves) Rykal. She was a homemaker residing in the Pines Lake section of Wayne. Mrs. Maloney loved her family. She also liked to spend time with the "Shady Ladies" at Pines Lake Beach. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher. Mrs. Maloney was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes and the Pines Lake Seniors. Mrs. Maloney is survived by her beloved children, Robert and his wife Joann, Lynn Maloney Robinson, Kim and her husband Edgardo Saade, and Patricia and her husband Thomas Capello; her devoted grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Robert Piasio, Michael Robinson, Janelle Saade, and Meghan Capello and her dear siblings: Patricia McNutt and Frank and his wife Janet Rykal. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene and her sister Margaret Meinert. Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the funeral Mass on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes.
