Obituary of Fred H. Pearson

Fred H. Pearson, age 78, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor, FL. Mr. Pearson was born September 27, 1928 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Frederick and the late Violet (Woodward) Pearson. He lived in Clearwater and was formerly of North Arlington. He was employed by Mobay Chemical Co. Haledon,NJ as a Chemical Technician for over 35 years before retiring in 1984. Mr. Pearson was a member of the Salvation Army Corps, Clearwater,FL and active in its music and outreach programs. He was an Avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed crafts,gardening and cooking in his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 57 years : Charlotte Low, three daughters: Charlene Scheibner of Clifton, NJ, Alice Uptegrove of Newton, NJ and Barbara Bennett of Bloomfield, NJ, one son: Fred of Verona, NJ, two sisters: Joan Thompson of Altus, OK and Lois Gentile of Holiday, FL, and 8 Grandchildren. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne and will be Celebrated by Majors Alastar & Carole Bate. Interment will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of Flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Clearwater Corps fund, 1625 N. Belcher Rd. Clearwater,FL 33765
