Obituary of Bertha Berman

Bertha (Bennett) Berman, age 85, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Mrs. Berman was born November 3, 1921 in New York, NY the daughter of the late Leo and the late Louise (Roberts) Bennett. She lived in Hillsdale. Mrs. Berman was a gradaute of New York University and worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Board Of Education in Riverdale, NJ for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Hunter College High School Alumni and the American Contract Bridge Leauge. She is survived by her husband: Leonard J. Berman of Hillsdale, one daughter: Wendy Bazelow of Wanaque, one son: Dr. Lee Berman of Wayne, one brother: Alan Bennett of Queens, NY and a granddaughter. All services are private.
