Obituary of Grace Van Seter

Grace (Rasa) Van Seter, age 90, died Friday, October 13, 2006 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Van Seter was born March 19, 1916 in Rochester, NY the daughter of the late John and the late Louise (Aliberi) Rasa. She lived in Mahwah and was formerly of Paterson, Wayne and Montville. She was a Homemaker as well as an accomplished Seamtress and Singer. Mrs. Van Seter also knit baby caps for newborns at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. She is survived by a daughter: Carolee Meglaughlin of Westfield, and a son: Gerald of Mt. View, CA, one sister: Janet Tubman of Paterson, 3 grandchildren Danielle, Robert B. and Michele E. Meglaughlin and many nieces and nephews. Her husband Michael predeceased her in 1976. She was also predeceased by her 5 Brothers; Pete,Joe, Mike,Vincent and Paul Rasa and 4 Sisters; Theresa Pheifer, Sarah Di Matteo, Mary Corallo and Anne Noble. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Moore's Home For Funerals.
