Obituary of Walter Ignatz Norman

Walter Ignatz Norman, age 92, died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Norman was born April 25, 1914 in Scranton, PA the son of the late Ignatz and the late Anna (Paleikis) Norman. He lived in Wayne. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Anthony Wayne Post # 174 Wayne. For over 25 years, he was employed by Singer Kearfott in Clifton as an Electronic Lab Technician. Mr. Norman was a parishioner of Holy Cross R.C. Church, Wayne He is survived by one daughter: Evelyn Norman of New York, NY, two sons: George of Wayne, and Richard and his Wife Diane of Midlothin, VA, and 3 Grandchildren, Jennifer,Jason & Alina . He was predeceased by his Wife, Pauline (Karlonas) in 1969. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Holy Cross R.C. Church, Holy Cross Way, Wayne and will be Celebrated by Fr. Charles J. Parr. Interment will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
