Obituary of Raymond Walter Carlisle

Raymond Walter Carlisle, age 84, died Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. Carlisle was born June 22, 1921 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Walter and the late Jennie (Anderson) Carlisle. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Elmwood Park and Paterson. He served in the Army during World War II. He was employed by IBEW Local # 102 Paterson,NJ where he was Electrician for over 35 years retiring in 1986. He was a volunteer Fireman in East Paterson/Elmwood Park and was former member of the Church of the Messiah, Paterson. Mr. Carlisle was a Past Master of the Mt. View Masonic Lodge # 154, Wayne and a 32nd degree Shriner at the Salaam Temple, Livingston. He was a Past Patron of the Order Of The Eastern Star - #205, Mountain View Chapter, Wayne and an avid Golfer and bowler. At age 80, he bowled a perfect score - 300 - at the Garden Palace in Clifton. He is survived by his wife of 58 years the former: Jacqueline [Holmes] of Wayne, two daughters: Janet And Her Husband Peter Dewes of Totowa and Nancy And her husband Robert Kinch of Wayne, one son: Richard And His Wife Faith of Pequannock Twsp, 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandson. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne with Rev. Harwood officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
