Obituary of Jaiashrie Grilli

Jaiashrie Grilli, age 54, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark. Ms. Grilli was born in Georgetown, Guyana the daughter of Durga and the late Hardai (Kaloo) Persaud. She lived in West Milford. Jai was a nurse, recently employed by Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover and previously at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson and St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital. Jai is survived by her beloved daughter Michelle Aarti Grilli; her loving father Durga Persaud; her devoted siblings: Suzie Persaud, Mandy Fullu, Cecilia Sharma and Rabin Persaud; her loving nephews Andre Mentis and Magnus Fullu and her niece, Kristin Fullu. She was predeceased by her mother Hardai Persaud in 2011. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and Monday, April 2, 2018 from 9-11a.m. There will be a funeral service on Monday at 11a.m. Cremation will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
