Obituary of Nancy O'Flaherty

Anne ''Nancy '' (O'Brien) O'Flaherty, age 80, died Monday, March 21, 2016 at home in Wayne. Mrs. O'Flaherty was born March 12, 1936 in Cratloe, County Clare, Ireland, the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Nora (Clancy) O'Brien. She was employed by Price Waterhouse Co. in NY, NY as a legal secretary before retiring. Mrs. O'Flaherty is survived by her loving children Niamh O'Flaherty and her husband Samuel Getz, Nessa and her husband Tim Mulligan, and James O'Flaherty and Patricia Van Sickle; and her devoted grandchildren, Nessa O'Flaherty, Sloan Getz, Jordan Getz, and Finn Getz. She was predeceased by her husband, Sean G. O'Flaherty and her daughter, Deirdre Anne. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne, celebrated by Msgr. James O'Rorke. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Memorial donations in Mrs. O'Flaherty's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
