Obituary of Elsa K. Ambrose

Elsa K. (Kirchner) Ambrose, age 76, of Fairfield died Saturday, December 13, 2003 at home in Fairfield. Mrs. Ambrose was born January 31, 1927 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Raymond H. and the late Carolina (Muth) Kirchner. She lived in Paterson until moving to Fairfield. She was a graduate of Central High School Paterson and the Englewood Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse employed by Paterson General Hospital, Paterson,NJ before retiring. Previously, she worked at the VA Hospital in Sheridan, Wyoming and as a private duty nurse. She is survived by her husband: James Ambrose of Fairfield, two daughters: Georgeanne Ambrose of Fairfield, NJ and Jamie DeFinis of Fairfield, NJ, three sons: Michael of Pittstown, NJ, Douglas of Utica, NY,and Kurt of Ottsville, PA, two sisters: Muriel Seidell and Olivia Gilbert, one brother: Carl Kirchner, and 6 grandchildren. All services are private. Moores home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd. Wayne,NJ is in charge of the arrangements.
