Obituary of Roy W. Hinchman

Roy W. Hinchman, age 76, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at home in Wayne. Mr. Hinchman was born in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Roy R. and the late Florence (Holmes) Hinchman. He was a lifelong resident of Wayne. He served in the US National Guard.Mr Hinchman was the owner/ operator of his own Air Conditioning and Refrigeration business and later worked for H & H maintenance in Bloomfield before retiring. Roy loved to fish. He also thoroughly enjoyed tailgating and attending the Rutgers games with his sons and grandsons, as well as watching the NY Giants and going to the Sussex Fair. He also got much joy preparing his backyard for his annual barbeques so his family could enjoy his yard and pool with him. He was a true family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Catherine (Orr) Hinchman, his devoted sons: Roy R. and his wife Monica and Curtis and his wife Patricia and his cherished grandchildren: Darren, Kate, Audrey And Matthew. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 PM. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00am and will be Celebrated by Msgr. John Carroll. Interment will follow at Preakness Reformed Church Cemetery, Wayne.
