Uncle Jerry, was such a great person, always happy and always in great spirits He loved his family and his friends. He always made you laugh and smile He reminded me as Joe Pesci, he would dress up and act out as a clown or comedian. He was my best friend always there for me I love him so much I will miss spending time with him going to NYC, for his doctor appointments, helping him doing the lawn, spending Sundays together eating together and watching the Sopranos and soccer games he knew when Italy would play and would tell me or invite me over to watch it together. I will miss him making pizza, and how great it was. He is the best and that's why God took him home . I will never forget you and will always remember you and never forget the things you taught me and told me. Thanks for being my beloved uncle and my best friend. I love you Uncle Jerry Ciao Bello.

I was so very sad to learn this news today. Jerry was a kind and sweet soul who I’ve known practically my whole life and always adored. Rest in peace Jerry.. Please accept my sincere deepest sympathy on the loss of Gerardo. I was so sorry to hear his passing. I did not know until the day after the service. I will always be thankful that i had the opportunity to know and treat him as my patient but more so as a true friend. After he would leave my office occasionally, he would go to the restaurant and make a pizza for me come all the way back to my office in Wayne to bring it to me. He knew how much I loved his pizza. I cannot express in words how much I will miss him. Once in a while there is someone in your life that touches your heart, that was Gerardo .Rest in peace my patient and friend.
