Obituary of Virginia Alicia Murphy

Virginia Alicia (Moore) Murphy, age 70, of Pompton Lakes died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Murphy was born June 27, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late John and the late Catherine (Carney) Moore. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. She is survived by her husband: John M. Murphy, six daughters: Barbara Murphy of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Jeanne Andrusin of North Andover, MA, Nancy Ettinger of Pompton Lakes, MaryBeth Rhinesmith of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Karen Murphy of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Patti Hunt of Pompton Lakes, NJ, one sister: Cartherine McCaffrey of Lake Worth, FL, two brothers: Jack Moore of Middletown, NJ, and Jimmy Moore of Pleasantville, NY. 8 grandchildren, Philip,Katherine, Kaitlyn, Jennifer,Andrew, Brandon,Samatha & Erin Visiting hours will be Sunday, February 2, 2003 from 3-5 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 12:30 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael Carnevale. Burial will be in Our Lady Of The Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon.
