Obituary of Elizabeth M. Matthews

Elizabeth M. (Felber) Matthews, age 98, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Milford Manor in West Milford. Mrs. Matthews was born in Paterson, the daughter of the late Lawrence and the late Mary (Fogler) Felber. She lived most of her life in Paterson. Before retiring Mrs. Matthews was employed by Meadox Medical Inc. in Oakland as an inspector. She is survived by her beloved children Sally M. Maturo and James and his wife Dorothy Matthews; her devoted grandchildren Debra Kerr, John Aleman, William Matthews, Vickie Mirsik and Lori Lauretta; nine cherished great-grandchildren; and her dear sisters Eileen Scarmozza and Charmaine Felice. She was predeceased by her husband, Wenton, her son : William Matthews, her brother, John Felber, her sisters Lena Foy and Anna Storms, and her grandson, William Aleman. Visiting hours will be Monday, April 9, 2018 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. which will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
