Obituary of Frank Scotti

Frank Scotti, age 85, of Wayne passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. He was born December 6, 1930 son of Emilio and Anna Scotti in Bronx, NY. Mr. Scotti received his BS from The City College of New York, and his PhD from the University of Maryland. He served 2 years in the Air Force during the Korean War. On December 23, 1953 he married Joan C. Brennan of Bronx, NY. They initially lived in Westport, CT, and then in 1967, settled into Pines Lake, in Wayne. Mr. Scotti worked as a research chemist for American Cyanamid in Wayne, and then started his own business, Scott-Page, Inc, developing environmentally safe painting and caulking supplies. He has held several US Patents. After his wife's death, he spent his time with Annie Pelligrini. He enjoyed walking, playing bridge with his many friends, and the Wayne Library's political discussion group. Mr. Scotti is survived by his three children, Richard and his wife Lynn of Sparta, NJ; Meg and her husband Greg of Stowe, VT; Robert and his wife Marlise, and his two lovely grandchildren Amandia and Julieta of Lake Oswego, OR. He is also survived by his brother Tony, his sister-in-law Brenda, and his friend Billy Pelligrini. Mr. Scotti was preceded in death by his wife Joan (Brennan), his brother Benjamin, and his sister-in-law Lilian. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wayne Public Library, 461 Valley Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470, or Christian Health Care Center, CHCC Foundation, 301 Sicomac Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A memorial service will be held at Siena Village at Wayne, 1000 Siena Village, Wayne, on Sunday, August 21st at 1:00 pm.
