Obituary of Eleanor Innocenti

Eleanor (Champy) Innocenti, age 97, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Valencia, Ca. Mrs. Innocenti was born May 3, 1918 in Broughton, PA the daughter of the late Alfredo and the late Margurite (Cannigiano) Champy. Recently she lived in Valencia with her daughter and son in law and was formerly of Paterson and Wayne. She was employed by First National Bank in Totowa, NJ as a Bookkeeper for many years before retiring. Mrs. Innocenti was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, and a member of its Senior club as well as serving as a Sunshine Girl, Vice President and President of the club. She was also a member of the St. Joseph Silver Club, who knitted hats and blankets for newborns. She is survived by her loving children: Roy Innocenti of Passaic and Jean and her husband Walter Kiczek of Valencia, CA and adoring grandchildren: Nicole and her husband Chris Wehmeyer, Marc La Corte and his wife Jackie of Sun Valley, CA, and beloved great-grandchildren: Devin and Julia Wehmeyer, Romeo, Julian and Jesse La Corte. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Alfred, her brothers: Gene, Albert, Reno, Mike and Louis Champy and a sister, Jean LoBue. Visiting hours will be Friday 2/12/16 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be Saturday 2/13/16 at 9:30 am at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Ave, Prospect Park and will be celebrated by Msgr. Edward Kurtyka. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Memorials may be made to the United Hospice Care, 5924 East Los Angeles Ave. Unit J, Simi Valley, CA 93063
