Obituary of Richard Fonseca

Richard Fonseca, age 63, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Mr. Fonseca was born January 19, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Ismael Fonesca and the late " Nellie" (Figueroa) Alvira. He lived in Haledon. He was employed by Cognati Cheese Co. Moonachie, NJ as a fork lift operator and previously at Paradigm Packing in Moonachie. Rich was an avid NY Yankee fan, a Patriots Fan and loved to play video games with his grandson. Mr. Fonseca was a member of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Linda (Hossack) Fonseca; three loving daughters, Caressa and her husband Steve Howlett, Tanya, and Victoria Fonseca; a cherished grandson, Jonathan Howlett; and dear siblings, Ismael Fonseca, Willie Rios, Benjamin Rios, Helen and Evelyn Rios. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday evening, November 3, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Graveside service on Wednesday at 10am at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Ave. Totowa.
