Obituary of Ethel Elizabeth Hyslip

Ethel E. ''Bette'' (Winant) Hyslip, age 87, passed away with her family at her side, on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Filosa Health Care in Danbury, CT. Mrs. Hyslip was born July 8, 1927 in Hackensack, NJ, the daughter of the late William G. and the late Ethel (Deane) Winant. Bette was a graduate of Vermont Junior College. She lived in Danbury and was formerly of Montvale and Wayne, NJ and St. Petersburg, FL. Bette was a former resident of Winston Park Condos in St. Petersburg, and a secretary at St. Anthony's Hospital, and also at the Young Women's Residence there before retiring. Mrs. Hyslip was a member of St. Raphael RC Church in St. Petersburg, FL and the Council of Catholic Women. Bette is survived by her two daughters, Beth Hyslip and Gale Gustavson and her husband Jim; and two grandchildren, David and Jamie Gustavson. She was predeceased by two brothers, Deane Winant and Bill Winant.
