Obituary of William Hanenberg

William Hanenberg, age 80, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. Hanenberg was born March 18, 1935 in Passaic, the son of the late John and the late Sadie (Burk) Hanenberg. He lived in Wayne for the last 30 years, grew up in Clifton and was formerly of Lincoln Park. Mr. Hanenberg served in the US Air Force and he was a Flight Simulator Tech for Flight Safety International in Moonachie, retiring after over 40 years of service. Mr. Hanenberg is survived by his beloved wife Joan (Zumbo) Hanenberg; his loving siblings, Wilhelmina Hanenberg and John Hanenberg and his dear nephew, Michael. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Entombment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
