Obituary of Israel O. Lugo

Israel D. Lugo, age 87, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Hospice of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. Lugo was born February 20, 1928 in Lajas, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Delfin and the late America (Ortiz) Lugo. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of FL. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Before retiring, he was employed by the American Book Company, Saddlebrook, NJ as a Supervisor. He is survived by his children: Israel, Ralph, Waldy, Victor, Benjamin,Carmen and Erika Lugo and 9 grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 8:45-9:45am. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
