Obituary of Rose Chianchiano

Rose (Scire) Chianchiano, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Atrium at Wayne. She was born July 6, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Giacoma and the late Josephine (LoCoco) Scire. Formerly of Fair Lawn, Mrs. Chianchiano was a homemaker residing in Wayne. She attended St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes. Mrs. Chianchiano is survived by her loving children, Jeanne Schumacher and Peter and his wife Laura Chianchiano; her devoted grandchildren, Rusty, Doug and Traci Schumacher and Benjamin and Peter Chianchiano; and her cherished great-grandson, Darin Schumacher. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The funeral Mass will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. ST Sutton. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Memorial donations in Mrs. Chianchiano's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
