Obituary of Aida De Vito

Aida (Violante) De Vito, age 94, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Wayne. Mrs. De Vito was born November 2, 1920 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Luigi and the late Grace (Esposito) Violante and lived in Haskell for the last 30 years. She was employed by Western Electric in Clifton and then by Erie Railroad in Jersey City where she was a clerk-typist. Mrs. DeVito was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes. Mrs. De Vito is survived by her loving sister Marie Stellita. She was predeceased by her husband, Armando De Vito; her daughter, Jo-Ann Sara De Vito; and her sisters, Lena Liguori and Louise Mandara The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
