Biography

Harry A Petrenas, age 70, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Petrenas was born April 6, 1941 in Greece, the son of the late Evangelos and the late Anastasia (Tourikis) Petrenas. He lived in Wayne for 26 years and was formerly of Minnesota. Mr. Petrenas was the owner of H.A.P.'s Vegetable, Inc. in Wayne for 26 years, retiring 2004. He was a member of St George's Greek Orthodox Church in Clifton.

Mr. Petrenas is survived by his beloved wife Maria (Moulkoitis) Petrenas; his loving daughters, Anastasia and her husband Dean Kovanes and Elaine and her husband Vassilios Manoliadis; his cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Katarina Theoharis and Bobby; his dear brothers Jerry and Dimitri Petrenas and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday from 6-9 PM.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton.

Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
