|  Joseph C. Kane, age 76, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Mr. Kane was born June 28, 1934 in Paterson, the son of the late Joseph Francis and the late Hazel (Gamble) Kane. He lived in Franklin and was formerly of Wayne. He served as a Petty Officer First Class in the US Navy during Korean War and retired in 1994. Mr. Kane was the owner / operator of Kane Transport in Wayne. He was a member of American Legion Post 279 in Lincoln Park. Mr. Kane is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn (Darrah); his loving children Sharon Kane, Patti Petrochko, the late Lori Kane-Bristow, Michael and Shawn; 20 cherished grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; his dear siblings David, Leo, Loretta Frey and Maureen Shannon and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 7-9 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 521, Denville, NJ 07853  | |||
